An unauthorized guest exit on Disneyland’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure forced an emergency ride stop on Saturday night. A child attempted to leave their moving log vehicle mid-ride during the holiday weekend rush. A quick-thinking Cast Member safely halted all vehicles, avoiding any potential injuries to the child or surrounding riders.

A Disneyland cast member was actively monitoring the water attraction via CCTV when they witnessed a child leave their designated log vehicle according to TMZ. The employee hit the emergency stop button instantly. This quick reaction kept the situation from escalating before park staff safely evacuated the area.

A String Of Recent Ride Violations

This holiday weekend shutdown connects directly to a dangerous pattern of recent guest behavior at the newly opened Anaheim attraction. The first major safety incident occurred on June 21. A 13-year-old boy climbed out of his moving vehicle near the top of the lift hill. He then fell down the entire 50-foot drop. He required a brief hospitalization for evaluation before state regulators cleared the ride to reopen.

Just days later, a second incident disrupted operations. A viral video caught a group of adult guests completely out of their vehicle. The riders left their log early and stood on the lift-hill maintenance catwalk right before the final drop. This stunt caused a major system delay while Cast Members used the PA system to demand they stay seated.

Growing Safety Concerns On The Bayou

These repeating incidents highlight a major structural difference between the two versions of the attraction. Unlike the Florida version at Walt Disney World, Disneyland’s version does not feature lap bars or seat belts. Guests sit in a single row with open access to the side platforms. This setup makes it easier for rule-breaking guests to step out.

The ride currently continues to run its standard daily schedule despite these back-to-back evacuations. To keep up to date on all the latest Disney news and more, be sure to follow Disney Dorks on Facebook!
