Walt Disney World officially announced the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the 2026 holiday season. The festive after-hours event will light up Magic Kingdom on 25 select nights from November 8 through December 22, 2026. The party officially takes place from 7:00 PM to midnight. However, ticket holders can enter the park as early as 4:00 PM without needing standard daytime admission.
The limited-capacity celebration brings back several exclusive entertainment offerings. Guests can watch dancing gingerbread men and marching toy soldiers during Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will light up the sky with festive projections on Cinderella Castle. Over on the castle stage, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration will feature live performers and holiday music medleys.
Festive Entertainment and Ride Overlays
Special character experiences will also return throughout the park. Santa’s Christmas Carnival at Storybook Circus will host meet-and-greets with Santa Claus alongside holiday crafts. At the Town Square Theater, guests can meet Mickey and Minnie in their holiday finest. Jack Skellington will also make an appearance dressed as Sandy Claws alongside Sally.
Popular Magic Kingdom attractions will receive festive holiday overlays during the event. The Tomorrowland Speedway, Mad Tea Party, and Space Mountain will all feature special holiday lights and music. The Jungle Cruise will temporarily transform into the beloved Jingle Cruise, complete with seasonal jokes. Additionally, tickets include complimentary seasonal cookies and festive beverages at designated locations.
Ticket Sale Windows
Tickets for the 2026 event go on sale to select resort guests on July 9, 2026. This early window applies to guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. Ticket sales open to the general public on July 16, 2026. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can also take advantage of special event discounts.
