In celebration of Disneyland’s upcoming 71st anniversary, the resort has dropped a heavily discounted ticket package. Prices throw back to earlier eras. Starting next week, eligible guests can secure single-day park entry for a fraction of standard summer gate prices. The massive promotion serves as a direct nod to the park’s seven decades of operation. Disneyland first opened its gates on July 17, 1955.

The special anniversary pricing offers steep discounts across multiple age brackets. For guests ages 10 and older, a 1-Day, 1-Park ticket drops directly down to $71 per day. Upgrading to a 1-Day Park Hopper costs $104. Families with children ages 3 to 9 get an even sweeter incentive. A 1-Day single park entry is priced at $50. A 1-Day Park Hopper is available for that exact same $50 flat rate.

Key Promotional Dates And Travel Windows

The limited-time ticket offer officially goes on sale online beginning July 16, 2026. This is precisely one day before the park’s actual anniversary date. Those who secure the discounted admission can schedule their single-day visits starting July 20 through October 8, 2026. This specific multi-month travel window gives attendees unique flexibility. They can catch the final weeks of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary celebration before it closes on August 9. Alternatively, they can wait to experience the highly anticipated rollout of Halloween Time starting August 21.

The major catch with this anniversary promotion is that most general parkgoers will not qualify for the discount. This offer is strictly limited to Anaheim residents who live within specific eligible ZIP codes. These span 92801 through 92809, 92812, 92814 through 92817, 92825, 92850, and 92899. Buyers can purchase up to eight tickets per person, per day. However, every adult in the party must present a valid government-issued photo ID showing proof of residency at the main entrance turnstiles.

A Sudden Pivot For Summer Theme Park Attendance

This major local promotion arrives right on the heels of sudden changes to Disneyland’s seasonal ticket lineup. The resort recently announced a highly publicized $59 Summer Evening Ticket package. Then, Disney abruptly removed it from the website. It was listed as completely unavailable after less than a week of sales. Industry experts note that pivoting directly to this aggressive $71 resident deal allows Disney to effectively drive local attendance. It will boost crowds through the slower late-summer months while keeping a tight control on park reservation capacity.
