A Universal Studios Florida guest faced a permanent ban this weekend following a violent outburst over a trivial request. George Navarro was arrested on Sunday, April 19, 2026, after an altercation with a park employee. The incident resulted in a criminal charge for Battery and an indefinite trespass from all Universal properties.

Violence Sparked by a Pen Request

The conflict began when Navarro approached a Team Member to borrow a pen. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Navarro felt “disrespected” during the interaction. While the employee was turned away to assist another guest, Navarro intentionally struck him in the back. The victim reported immediate pain from the blow and sought help from park security.

Alcohol and Disturbing Threats

Deputies noted that Navarro showed clear signs of alcohol impairment at the scene. He later admitted to drinking before the confrontation occurred. During the arrest, Navarro made several threatening remarks regarding his military background. He reportedly claimed he could have caused “serious harm” or even killed the employee. He cited his past deployments as justification for his aggressive behavior.

Zero Tolerance for Employee Battery

Navarro initially claimed the physical contact was an accident. However, his statements to law enforcement contradicted this defense. While no security footage captured the specific strike, the arrest proceeded based on the victim’s testimony. Universal Orlando maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding violence against its staff. The lifetime ban applies to the theme parks, CityWalk, and all resort hotels.

Following the incident, Navarro was transported to the Orange County Jail. This case highlights the ongoing challenges theme parks face with guest behavior and intoxication. Universal continues to prioritize the safety of its Team Members through immediate law enforcement intervention.
