The spooky season has officially arrived at Walt Disney World. General ticket sales for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party began today, May 12, 2026. Demand for the event remains incredibly high this year. In fact, Halloween night sold out completely within just two hours of the public window opening. This follows a week of early access for Disney Resort guests. The 2026 season marks the earliest start in event history, with the first party kicking off on August 7.
The party runs from 7:00 PM to midnight on select nights. However, ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM. This “mix-in” period allows guests to enjoy the park before the festivities begin. The confirmed dates for the 2026 season include:
- August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
- September: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
- October: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31 (Sold Out)
Stitch Hosts New Tomorrowland Masquerade
Disney announced an exciting new character experience for the 2026 season. Stitch will host an “ever-changing masquerade” at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. He will appear alongside Lilo and Angel throughout the night. Fans can expect Stitch to swap between various costumes during the show. This new addition joins a long list of rare character meet-and-greets. These include the return of Jack Skellington and Sally at the Town Square Theater.
The event also features the iconic “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade. This fan-favorite parade showcases Disney Villains, Haunted Mansion hitchhikers, and the Headless Horseman. Guests can also view the “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks show. Jack Skellington hosts this nightly display, which features state-of-the-art projections and pyrotechnics. The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show also returns to the Castle Forecourt Stage. The Sanderson Sisters anchor this high-energy performance with several guest villains.
Ticket Pricing And Member Discounts
Pricing for the 2026 party varies based on the specific date. Tickets currently range from $119 to $229 plus tax. The least expensive nights fall in early August. Meanwhile, October dates command the highest prices. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket. This discount applies to select nights through October 2. Guests should purchase tickets early to secure their preferred dates as more nights will likely sell out soon.
Special ride overlays also return to Magic Kingdom this year. Space Mountain will run in total darkness with a special hard-rock soundtrack. Mad Tea Party features unique lighting and music for the holiday. Guests can also visit the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor treat trail for interactive jokes. These experiences are exclusive to party attendees. Each guest receives a reusable trick-or-treat bag to use at various Mars Wrigley candy stations throughout the park.
