On Location in Spain
Production crews transformed Girona Cathedral into the majestic kingdom of Corona for the major studio project. Historic medieval stone streets provide a stunning visual backdrop for outdoor shoots as cameras roll on location. Massive crowds gathered nearby to watch the action unfold.
Real-life identical twin actors Patrick and Hugo McPherson portray the iconic criminal brothers in the film. Both actors stand an impressive six feet and seven inches tall. Their imposing physical stature matches the animated antagonists remarkably well for the live-action medium and action sequences. Fans praised the authentic casting choice.
