A brand-new quest has officially arrived at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure. Located in the heart of Grizzly Peak, this forest-themed play area is currently hosting a special event for Pixar’s Hoppers. Guests can now participate in Mabel’s Seek & Find as they explore the massive trail. It is a limited-time offering available throughout the spring season.
Pick Your Favorite Animal
The adventure begins at the trail entrance near the Disney Ranger station. Guests can choose from four different themed maps for their journey. Each map features a specific character like King George the beaver or Tom Lizard. You will also receive a pencil to help track your progress. Choosing a different map each time allows for a unique experience.
The Scavenger Hunt Challenges
Once you have a map, you must navigate the trail to find hidden clues. One challenge requires guests to find a weather station and record the temperature. Another task involves locating a machine emitting high-frequency waves to “turn it down.” Finally, you must decode a secret message from Tom Lizard near the lookout point. These activities are designed to engage guests of all ages.
Meeting Mabel And New Photo Ops
While exploring, keep an eye out for a new statue of Mabel the beaver. The robotic beaver figure is perched directly on top of the beaver dam. This provides a great photo opportunity for fans of the new film. Disney PhotoPass photographers are also offering special Hoppers Magic Shots near the trail entrance. These digital enhancements add a touch of movie magic to your vacation photos.
Spring Break Staple
The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is currently fully open for the spring season. Recent bridge repairs and maintenance work were successfully completed in February. This means all climbing walls, slides, and zip lines are operational. The Hoppers activity adds a fresh layer of fun to this classic play area. It is the perfect spot for kids to burn off extra energy between lightning lanes.
