A stunning new Clawhauser Audio-Animatronic Animal Kingdom is ready for his Disney debut! Walt Disney World has unveiled a first look at the state-of-the-art figure set to appear in the new 4D show, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! The attraction officially opens on November 7, 2025, in the Tree of Life Theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
A State-of-the-Art Addition
This new Benjamin Clawhauser figure represents the next generation of Disney Audio-Animatronics technology. The figure is designed to be highly expressive and captures the cheetah’s larger-than-life personality with incredible detail. While the technology behind the fur has not been specifically named, the visible quality and texture are clearly inspired by the advancements made in Disney’s international parks, offering a level of realism rarely seen on a theme park figure.
Clawhauser’s New Role
In a unique setup, most characters in the Zootopia: Better Zoogether! show, including Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, will appear to “jump” off the screen using special “Carrot Vision” glasses. However, Clawhauser himself will be the lone physical Audio-Animatronic figure in the theater, watching the “Zoogether Day” celebration alongside guests. This makes him a vital, interactive component of the show, which replaces the long-running It’s Tough to be a Bug!.
An Off-Duty Style
For the celebration, the fan-favorite officer ditches his ZPD uniform for a festive, off-duty look. Clawhauser will be decked out from head to tail with glow necklaces, bracelets, and, naturally, his favorite glittery Gazelle T-shirt. His hilarious goal is to be chosen as the V.I.Z. (Very Important Zootopian), and when that plan goes awry, he takes matters into his own paws, promising a high-energy performance. This exciting new figure and show are set to enhance Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s commitment to cutting-edge, immersive storytelling.
