Developed in partnership with Google Cloud and Gemini, the feature aims to eliminate the friction that often frustrates visitors. First-time guests frequently report feeling overwhelmed by endless booking choices and rigid filter boxes.
Users can now describe their ideal getaway in plain conversational language instead of navigating clunky menus. A traveler might type out phrases like wanting a resort near a specific festival or a property with a great pool. The system instantly parses these inputs to surface tailored recommendations.
Smarter Search and Assistant Tools
Beyond basic filtering, the integrated AI assistant answers complex logistical questions on the fly. Visitors can ask about walking distances between locations or compare dining variety without opening multiple browser tabs. Finding active discounts also requires far less manual searching. The updated platform automatically scans and applies the best available rates across different room types.
Logged-in users can securely save their preferences and receive timely alerts regarding rate changes or annual passholder perks. Furthermore, the website generates shareable links so families and groups can collaborate seamlessly on their itineraries.
Interactive Maps and Future Rollout
Planning logistics becomes even easier with new interactive resort maps that show property locations relative to the theme parks. Video previews replace static photo galleries to give guests a realistic look at accommodations. Users can also view upfront transportation breakdowns and compare nearby resorts side-by-side.
The new tool is currently rolling out in a limited beta for randomly selected visitors across the United States and Canada. Disney has labeled the feature as guided search beta while gathering guest feedback for future expansions.
