To celebrate the upcoming theatrical release of The Mandalorian and Grogu on May 22, 2026, the fast-food giant has unveiled a massive global collaboration. This campaign features themed food, exclusive collectibles, and new toys for fans of all ages.
Phased U.S. Launch Schedule
Burger King is rolling out the campaign in two distinct phases across the United States. The journey began on April 28, 2026, with the debut of new King Jr. Meals. The full adult menu and premium collectibles will officially launch on May 4, 2026, perfectly timed for the “May the Fourth” celebrations.
The U.S. Menu And Bounty Packaging
The U.S. menu focuses on unique flavor profiles and high-quality “Bounty” packaging. The headliner is the BBQ Bounty Whopper, served in a special helmet-shaped carton. It features Swiss cheese, bacon, and a tangy “Bounty BBQ” sauce. Other items include Grogu’s Garlic Chicken Fries and Imperial Cheddar Ranch Tots. For dessert, fans can grab Grogu’s Blue Cookie Shake, inspired by the iconic Star Wars Blue Milk.
International Menu Envy: The Green Buns
Social media has been buzzing with “menu envy” over international variations. In markets like the Philippines, Burger King released the Galaxy Burger with a black charcoal bun and Grogu’s Bounty Burger with a vibrant green bun. While the U.S. stuck to standard buns, the UK is utilizing a “Grogu-green” pickle ketchup to provide a similar visual pop.
Collectible Cups And King Jr. Toys
For many collectors, the physical items are the main draw. The U.S. promotion includes four unique collectible cups available with the “Bounty Bundle” or select large combos. Kids can also collect Mandalorian-themed toys in their King Jr. Meals. Additionally, Burger King’s iconic cardboard crowns have been redesigned in both silver Mandalorian and green Grogu variants.
