The incident occurred on February 28 around 1:00 p.m. as guests exited the Admiral Joe Fowler boat. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Amanda Pinheiro Muir now faces a felony charge. She allegedly attacked a person 65 years or older. The victim uses a wheelchair and was waiting for the crowds to clear.

The victim sat on a bench near the ferry exit. She asked her husband to watch her feet so no one would step on her. Pinheiro Muir walked nearby and took offense to the comment. She reportedly told the woman that she could punch her in the face. The victim tried to laugh off the verbal threat. However, the situation escalated instantly. Pinheiro Muir then poured her iced coffee over the victim’s head in front of many witnesses.
