Thirteen Disney employees are among 281 people arrested during a seven-day undercover operation in Central Florida targeting child predators and human trafficking. Six of the suspects accused of traveling to meet a minor told detectives they work or once worked at Disney World.

Inside the Sting

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office led the operation, called “Polk Around and Find Out II,” alongside state and federal agencies. Sheriff Grady Judd described it as the largest undercover operation in the agency’s history. Of the 281 arrests, 239 involved prostitution and 31 involved suspected child predators, and investigators identified 11 human trafficking victims. Seventeen of the suspects told detectives they work at local theme parks, including 13 at Disney and four at Universal. Seven of those 17 face charges tied to the child predator investigation.

Adam Snyder, 24, told detectives he works in Toy Story Land. Investigators also found part of his uniform and his Disney badge in his vehicle. Colin Gormican, 28, said he works at the Slinky Dog ride. Alex Camacho, 25, said he works in food services, and Brandon Quispe, 27, said he works in human resources. Collin Klaco, 24, told detectives he used to dress up as Mickey Mouse at Disney World. Randy Brunet, 26, said he works at various Disney resorts, including the Swan and Dolphin, which Marriott operates. Brunet also faces 60 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. All six face charges that include traveling to meet a minor.

Disney Fires Arrested Employees

Judd said Disney cooperated with investigators and fired all of the employees caught in the sting. The sheriff’s office had not received an update from Universal about its employees. Judd said the arrested theme park workers were “face-to-face with our children” in their jobs.

Not the First Sting

The first “Polk Around and Find Out” operation in May led to 266 arrests. In 2022, another Polk County sting led to the arrests of four Disney employees. Judd urged parents to keep an eye on their children’s online activity and to know the adults in their lives.
