The annual Disney World price increase hit today, raising costs on tickets, Lightning Lane, Annual Passes, and food. The biggest headline is the one-day Park Hopper, which can now reach a record $301 on the most expensive dates. That price includes tax and applies to peak days in late 2027.
Regular one-day tickets also hit a new high of $229 at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Thankfully, that price only applies to two days on the 2027 calendar, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Peak prices now reach $214 at Hollywood Studios and $189 at Animal Kingdom. The good news is that the cheapest one-day ticket stays at $119.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass Nears $500
Lightning Lane Premier Pass also got more expensive, with its top price jumping $50 from $449 to $499. It’s Disney’s premium service that lets guests skip the line without booking return times. Single Pass prices are going up by $1 to $3 at the top end. Multi Pass prices didn’t change, and neither did theme park parking.
Annual Passes and Food Cost More
All four Annual Pass tiers went up, with increases ranging from $10 to $120. The Pixie Dust Pass now costs $499, the Pirate Pass is $909, and the Sorcerer Pass is $1,139. The top-tier Incredi-Pass saw the biggest jump, climbing $120 to $1,749.
Food prices are also up at nearly every quick-service location, with most items rising 50 cents to $1. Fountain drinks went from $4.79 to $4.99, and coffee now costs $4.99 too. Popcorn rose from $5.99 to $6.29, while Pizzafari’s cheese pizza jumped $1.20 to $12.49.
Why Disney Says Prices Went Up
Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum told CNN, “Our goal is to put guests at the center of our decision making.” He added that it matters more now, when families are watching every dollar. CFO Hugh Johnston has said Disney raises prices when it delivers more value. As he put it, “Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.” Disney also says guests’ value-for-money perception is up double digits since 2023.
Disney has raised prices every October for several years, so this round wasn’t a surprise. The price increase comes while Magic Kingdom has lost the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island to construction. Crews are building a new Cars-themed area there, along with Villains Land. Hollywood Studios is getting a Monsters, Inc. land, and Animal Kingdom is adding Encanto and Indiana Jones rides.
