A shocking viral video has emerged showing an Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) deputy forcing a Walt Disney World cast member off the road. The incident occurred near the I-4 interchange at World Center Drive, a major thoroughfare for thousands of resort employees. Ivan Schiffino was driving home after a morning shift when a marked patrol cruiser suddenly cut across multiple lanes. The reckless maneuver forced Schiffino’s vehicle into the grass median to avoid a high-speed collision.
The encounter happened around 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2. Dashcam footage shows the deputy crossing a “gore area”—the striped divider between lanes—without using a turn signal. Schiffino had to steer his car onto the grass to stay safe. While he avoided a crash, his vehicle sustained minor front-end damage. This area is notoriously busy with tourists and commuters. Seeing a law enforcement vehicle ignore basic traffic laws has sparked significant concern among local drivers.

The most controversial part of the footage occurs after both vehicles hit the grass. Schiffino reports that he made eye contact with the deputy through the cruiser’s window. As of today, May 9, the agency has not explained why the deputy was driving so aggressively. They have also not confirmed if the deputy was responding to an actual emergency call at the time of the incident.
For Schiffino, the video is his only protection against potential legal trouble. He stated that without the footage, it would have been his word against the word of a deputy in court.
