Walt Disney World recently announced a massive expansion of dining discounts for Annual Passholders as part of the V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days celebration. From May 1 through July 31, 2026, Passholders can save significantly at a dozen table-service locations across the resort. These limited-time offers provide a rare opportunity to dine at high-demand restaurants for a fraction of the usual cost. The program aims to drive weekday attendance during the busy summer months.
New 20% Discount At High-Demand Locations
For the 2026 season, Disney has added two iconic Magic Kingdom spots to the discount lineup. Passholders now save 20% during lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant. The Crystal Palace also joins the program, offering 20% off for both lunch and dinner sittings. These locations typically see high guest volume, making any discount a major perk for passholders. This specific tier focuses on the most popular character and themed dining experiences in the park.
Massive 40% Savings At Select Restaurants
Ten different restaurants across the property will offer a deep 40% discount this summer. New additions for 2026 include the Biergarten Restaurant for lunch and the Garden Grill Restaurant for both lunch and dinner. Other fan favorites like Tiffins, Hollywood & Vine, and Whispering Canyon Cafe remain on the list. These deeper discounts allow families to enjoy signature dining at Animal Kingdom or resort favorites like Toledo without the premium price tag.
Important Weekday Restrictions And Rules
The V.I.PASSHOLDER dining offer is valid Monday through Thursday only. Guests cannot use the discount on weekends or for special dining packages like the Fantasmic! Dining Package. The discount covers the primary Passholder and up to three additional guests per visit. It applies only to the regular price of food and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol, tax, and gratuity remain at full price. Passholders must present a valid digital ID and a photo ID at the time of purchase.
Bonus Perks And Magnet News
Beyond the food, Disney also teased a new collectible magnet for the summer event. The upcoming Woody and Buzz Toy Story-themed magnet will be available for pickup during the same May to July window. Passholders should check for “Good-to-Go” days or ensure they have a park reservation before heading out. While many afternoon visits no longer require reservations, weekends at Magic Kingdom still follow the traditional booking rules. These combined perks make the summer a prime time for local and frequent visitors.
Planning Your Summer Visits
Reservations for these participating restaurants are strongly recommended as capacity is limited. Many of the 40% off locations, like Cape May Cafe or Boatwright’s Dining Hall, often reach full capacity during the dinner rush. Passholders can book these tables through the My Disney Experience app up to 60 days in advance. These discounts represent some of the strongest incentives Disney has offered to its passholders in years. With 12 different locations to choose from, there are plenty of ways to save while exploring the parks.
