Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite is officially returning in April 2026. This fan-favorite event celebrates the “golden age” of Disney Channel from the late 90s through the late 2010s. The nostalgic celebration will take place over three select nights at Disneyland Park on April 12, 14, and 16. This year promises even more throwback magic than before. Fans can expect rare characters, high-energy music, and food inspired by their favorite childhood shows.
The event officially runs from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM. However, your special event ticket allows you to enter the park as early as 6:00 PM. This “mix-in” period gives guests extra time to enjoy attractions before the party starts. No separate park reservation is required for those entering with a Disney Channel Nite ticket. This makes it an easy way to experience the park with lower wait times and exclusive entertainment.
Historic Character Debut and Throwback Fun
The biggest news for 2026 is the historic debut of Penny Proud. For the first time ever in a Disney park, the star of The Proud Family will appear for meet-and-greets. This is a major moment for fans who grew up watching the animated series. Other rare characters expected to return include Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, and characters from Wizards of Waverly Place. These appearances are exclusive to the After Dark event and offer unique photo opportunities.
The entertainment lineup is equally impressive for 2026. Guests can catch the High School Musical and ZOMBIES Pep Rally on Main Street, U.S.A. This show features dancers and hit songs from both iconic movie franchises. Over at the Rivers of America, the DescenDANCE party will keep the energy high with music from the Descendants films. For those who love a good sing-along, the Camp Rock event at The Golden Horseshoe is a must-see.
Nostalgic Treats and Ticket Information
Disney is bringing back the popular “after-school snack” menu for these three nights. Fan-favorite items include the “Naco” from Kim Possible and an Agent P-themed churro inspired by Phineas and Ferb. These themed snacks add another layer of nostalgia to the evening. Special photo backdrops will also be available, allowing guests to step inside scenes from Hannah Montana, That’s So Raven, and Lizzie McGuire.
Tickets for Disney Channel Nite 2026 will go on sale in early February. Inspire Key holders get first access on February 3, followed by all Magic Key holders on February 4. The general public can purchase tickets starting February 5. These events sell out quickly, so it is important to be ready when the virtual queue opens. Prices are expected to start at $159 per guest for these exclusive nights of Disney Channel magic.
