Disney fans visiting Magic Kingdom will soon see one of their favorite attractions take a short break. Mickey’s PhilharMagic will close for refurbishment starting November 1, 2025, as Disney prepares to refresh the beloved 3D musical experience.

A New Note in the Symphony

When Coco joined the show in 2021, it marked one of the most exciting updates in the attraction’s 22-year history. The new segment features the upbeat tune Un Poco Loco and brings Donald Duck into the Land of the Dead alongside Miguel and Héctor. This addition blended seamlessly into the show’s lineup of classic Disney hits, giving guests even more reason to sing along and smile.

Refurbishment Details

According to Disney’s park schedule, the attraction will remain closed from November 1 through November 22, 2025, with plans to reopen on November 23—just in time for the Thanksgiving rush. Reports suggest the work will include new seating and minor technical upgrades to keep the show running smoothly for years to come.

What Guests Can Expect

While Mickey’s PhilharMagic is dark, Magic Kingdom still offers plenty of entertainment to fill the gap. Guests can experience Carousel of Progress, Enchanted Tales with Belle, or Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor as alternatives. Once PhilharMagic reopens, the updated theater and vibrant Coco sequence will make the wait worthwhile.

The Magic Continues

This short refurbishment is part of Disney’s ongoing efforts to maintain the quality and comfort of its attractions. Fans can rest assured the curtain will rise again soon—brighter and more musical than ever.
