Disney fans will need to budget a little more magic money for their next trip. The company announced new ticket and annual pass price increases across both coasts, with adjustments beginning in late 2025 and continuing into 2026.

Rising Ticket Costs

At Walt Disney World, one-day, single-park tickets for Magic Kingdom during peak holiday dates—such as Christmas through New Year’s—will now cross the $200 threshold, costing $209 plus tax. While off-season tickets at Animal Kingdom remain steady at $119, moderate and busy dates across all four parks are seeing increases of about $5.

Over on the West Coast, Disneyland’s peak single-day ticket will rise 8.7%, topping out at $224. The lowest-tier ticket will stay at $104, a price that hasn’t changed since 2019.

New Offers Help Balance the Increases

Despite the hikes, Disney is promoting several deals for 2026. Guests booking a minimum four-night vacation package that includes a room and park tickets can save up to $250 per night for stays from February 22 through July 25, 2026. In addition, a free dining plan for kids ages 3 to 9 will be available when an adult dining plan is purchased—an offer that can be combined with the spring discount for added value.

Annual Pass and Lightning Lane Adjustments

Annual passholders will also see changes. At Disney World, two of the four pass tiers will increase by $20 to $80, while Disneyland’s Magic Key passes will rise by 2–4%. However, Disney has slightly lowered the required down payment for monthly payment plans.

Meanwhile, Lightning Lane access continues to rise with demand. Disneyland’s Premiere Lightning Lane Pass now costs up to $449, while Disney World’s version varies by park and date, often peaking during major holidays.

Balancing Magic and Affordability

In a statement to CNN, Disney emphasized that its parks “offer a full day of experiences, with ticket, hotel, and dining options designed to suit a wide range of needs and budgets.” Despite the price jumps, many fans continue to find ways to enjoy the magic without breaking the bank—especially when pairing offers and promotions early.
