Disney finally released the final Zootopia 2 Trailer. The highly anticipated sequel arrives in theaters on November 26, 2025. This stunning trailer gives fans their best look yet at the new villain, the new plot, and the film’s new original song.
The Reptile Mystery: Gary De’Snake
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde face a completely new challenge in the sequel. They must now investigate a mysterious reptile. This case leads them to unexplored parts of Zootopia. The search uncovers a previously hidden reptile population within the mammal metropolis.
The mysterious reptile is Gary De’Snake, a venomous pit viper voiced by Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan. De’Snake wants to “set things right” so his family can finally “come home.” The trailer quickly shows Nick hilariously knocking out Gary with a frying pan. Take a peak at the trailer below:
Partnership Tested and Star-Studded New Cast
The sequel tests Judy and Nick’s growing bond. Chief Bogo orders the detective duo into the “Partners in Crisis” counseling program. The new mystery forces them to go undercover, which will severely test their partnership. Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman return to voice the famous pair.
Disney loaded the sequel with an incredible supporting cast. Quinta Brunson joins as Dr. Fuzzby, an adorable quokka therapy animal. Fortune Feimster plays Nibbles Maplestick, a conspiracy-focused beaver podcaster. We also meet The Lynxleys, a prominent Zootopia family voiced by Andy Samberg, Macaulay Culkin, Brenda Song, and David Strathairn.
Pop superstar Shakira returns as Gazelle. She performs a new original song, “Zoo,” written by her, Ed Sheeran, and Blake Slatkin. Fans can stream the full soundtrack, scored by Michael Giacchino, starting November 21.
