Meanwhile, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will host a brand-new live show this summer. Cruella, Maleficent, Captain Hook, and more will strut down Sunset Boulevard. The performance combines high style, sharp humor, and plenty of surprises for guests.
Disneyland Resort Brings Back Oogie Boogie Bash
At Disneyland Resort, Oogie Boogie Bash will feature a new treat trail starring Syndrome from The Incredibles. The party also returns with spooky staples such as Villains Grove and the Frightfully Fun Parade.
Disney Cruise Line Welcomes Dr. Facilier
On Disney Cruise Line, Dr. Facilier will join the Disney Destiny this November. He will perform magic tricks and entertain guests in the Grand Hall. As a result, cruisers can expect a meet-and-play experience that feels delightfully mischievous.
Hong Kong Disneyland Hosts a Villains Street Party
Overseas, Hong Kong Disneyland will launch Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party on September 19. Maleficent leads the fiery street performance. The show includes live music, glowing effects, and a cavalcade designed to stir up wicked fun.
Villain-Inspired Merch for Fans
Finally, Disney confirmed new villain-themed merchandise. Bath & Body Works will release a line of scents inspired by Maleficent and the Evil Queen on September 3. In addition, collectors can look forward to a dramatic new Ursula doll from Mattel’s Darkness Descends series. The figure launches September 7 with glowing neon tentacles that capture Ursula’s flair.
The message from D23 is clear: Disney’s most iconic villains are stepping out of the shadows. With new lands, shows, and products, the villains are ready to take center stage.
